Months after WWE dropped the SmackDown hacker storyline, Mustafa Ali has seemingly revealed himself as the leader of RAW’s Retribution stable.
During this week’s episode of Monday Night RAW, Ali had a match with MVP, which ended with Retribution surrounding the ring. Rather than aligning himself with The Hurt Business to fend off the attack, Ali instructed Retribution to attack.
The commentary team mentioned how it appears that Ali is the leader of the stable.
There is similarities between the SmackDown hacker storyline and the Retribution group. Ali was earmarked to be revealed as the SmackDown hacker before WWE seemingly ended the angle.
Whether these two storylines are connected remain to be seen.
