NXT Sweeps AEW In Wednesday Night Wars

NXT has posted their first overall victory over All Elite Wrestling in the Wednesday Night Wars.

Last night’s saw NXT beat AEW in viewership for the third time, and post a higher rating in the coveted 18-49 demographic.

NXT scored an average of 795,000 viewers with a .27 in the 18-49 demographic, while AEW drew an average of 683,000 viewers with a .25 in the 18-49 demographic

AEW went into the broadcast with more matches confirmed, while NXT put both major titles on the line. Both shows touted limited commercial interruptions.

Both shows will have Christmas Day off, while AEW will be live on New Year’s Day from Jacksonville, FL. NXT will air a pre-taped episode on New Year’s Day, with the brand going back live at Full Sail University on 1/8.
