According to Fightful Select (subscription required), WWE flew out talent on April 14, and filmed multiple matches simultaneously from early morning until close to midnight that night.
During the shoot, an unknown interruption caused filming to stop. This was eventually resolved, and filming resumed.
According to the report, the filming was tedious, and required a lot of “hurry up and wait” in order to setup the next shot.
The matches were also filmed with a more cinematic look, which the company has experimented with lately.
