Kevin Owens did not attend WWE’s RAW tapings today in Orlando, FL.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Kevin Owens informed WWE early Wednesday morning that he would not be at the tapings following the latest positive COVID-19 test within the company.
According to the report, WWE did not pressure Owens into working the event, and no known issues are known between both parties.
Those that we spoke to in WWE said there was no heat on Owens that they’d heard of, and word was that he expressed his decision respectfully.
It’s unknown if WWE had to change creative plans based on Owens absence. The company hopes to have him return at the next set of tapings.
WWE recently had their second positive COVID-19 test in the company. Mass-testing was administered Tuesday, causing delays of scheduled television tapings.
