Hell In A Cell Match To Take Place On Friday Night SmackDown

WWE has made a major change to this Sunday’s Hell In A Cell pay-per-view, moving the WWE Universal Championship match to Friday Night SmackDown.

On Thursday evening, Rey Mysterio tweeted he couldn’t “wait any longer” to face Roman Reigns, challenging him to a match on SmackDown instead of this Sunday’s pay-per-view.

Reigns accepted the challenge, stating “Sunday. Friday. Any Day.”

WWE confirmed the match will happen during this week’s SmackDown inside Hell In A Cell.

It’s unknown why WWE chose to move the match from the PPV. As more details are known, an update will be provided.
