Sami Zayn, Chelsea Green and Rey Fenix all kept their championships on the Halloween edition of SmackDown on October 30.

WWE presented the show from the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, West Virginia, with Danhausen hosting as part of his Very Nice, Very Evil SmackDown. All three title matches ended with the champions retaining, which locks in both Crown Jewel Championship matches for November 7.

Green opened the title action by beating Nikki Bella to keep the WWE Women’s Championship. Bella came close with the Rack Attack, but Green’s foot was on the bottom rope to break the count. Green then rolled Bella up for the win. After the match, Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan came to the stage holding her title, and there was another tease of a Money in the Bank cash in from Tiffany Stratton. Green will now face Morgan at Crown Jewel for the women’s Crown Jewel Championship.

Fenix beat Ricky Saints to keep the AAA World Cruiserweight Championship in the second title match of the night. Jade Cargill also beat Tatum Paxley in singles action.

The main event saw Zayn defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against United States Champion Trick Williams. The match first ended by disqualification after Johnny Gargano pulled the referee out of the ring. SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis restarted the match as a No Disqualification match. Zayn then used the referee as a shield, hit Williams with a low blow, and struck him with the championship belt to get the pin.

Zayn now heads to Crown Jewel as champion. He is set to face World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns on November 7 for the men’s Crown Jewel Championship.

What is confirmed is the three retentions, the restarted main event, and the Crown Jewel Championship matches now set for November 7. What is not confirmed is how the rest of the Crown Jewel card will shape up in the final week before the show.
