Seth Rollins is calling out reports that he was made a speech during a backstage talent meeting prior to RAW yesterday afternoon.

Rollins reached out to Fightful to set the record straight regarding reports he made a speech following a talent meeting hosted by Vince McMahon yesterday in Long Island, NY.

“Vince and Triple H held an all talent meeting to explain the travel situation returning from Crown Jewel. They commended the talent for their conduct in a tough spot and fielded questions and allowed anyone to voice their feelings on the matter. Some talent spoke up and overall it was a productive forum. I said zero words. I made no speech. Pretty simple,” – Seth Rollins statement to Fightful

The report also states a member of WWE talent reached out to Fightful Tuesday morning stating that Seth Rollins did not speak at all during the talent meeting before RAW, and people are “going after him for no reason”.

News began spreading Monday afternoon of a roster meeting backstage at RAW. Initial word from the venue indicated that Rollins did give a pep talk to the rest of the roster. Rollins and another member of WWE talent are denying these claims. This may indicate people backstage are spreading misinformation to make Rollins look bad.

Reports from Dave Meltzer on Tuesday indicate Rollins gave a speech advising fellow talent to keep situations like the Saudi Arabia travel issues off social media. The report alleges many in the company feel that Seth is attempting to be a locker room leader on RAW.

Rollins took a shot at Dave Meltzer following the initial report.

Vince McMahon held a meeting with the roster prior to RAW to speak on issues talent had coming back from Saudi Arabia.
