WWE Continuing To Bring In NXT Talent To Work Dark Matches
Several NXT talent worked dark matches ahead of tonight’s Friday Night SmackDown taping inside the WWE ThunderDome in Tampa, FL
According to PWInsider, Shotzi Blackheart, Toni Storm, Karrion Kross, and Odyssey Jones had untelevised matches before tonight’s SmackDown broadcast.
Shotzi Blackheart faced Toni Storm, Karrion Kross faced Cesaro, and Odyssey Jones faced Robert Roode.
Fans may not be familiar with Odyssey Jones, (Omari Palmer), who is a former college football player who signed with WWE in 2019. He has yet to debut on television, and has worked a handful of matches at NXT live events.
