WWE ring announcer Greg Hamilton has threatened legal action against former Roc Nation artist Westside Gunn.
Hamilton took to Instagram, stating Gunn used his voice on a music project without his permission. Hamilton’s voice is heard on Gunn’s song “Undertaker vs. Goldberg”, which can be listened to below.
Well @westsidegunn@buffalokidsgallery let’s hope that since you STOLE my voice for your incoherent kindergarten fables….that you saved up enough delivering for Door Dash….because….You….are….🤬’d. You’ll be paying me for years….apologize and I’ll think about not collecting every dime for the rest of your life….or I can just get WWE lawyers….that’s ok too. Settle with my lawyer. And don’t EVER use my voice again….so wrong.
Based on Hamilton’s comments on the post, he is seeking a settlement, or will be using WWE’s legal team against the rapper.
Tick….tock…..the longer this goes, the longer I have in court….you ready to settle or do you wanna dance with WWE lawyers? It’s a slam dunk. Price goes up by the day….
It was 20k, but at noon eastern it’s $30k and we go to court.
Westside Gunn is an avid wrestling fan, frequently attending WWE and AEW events. He has made several songs with references to wrestlers. He recently joined forces with rap legend Master P, investing in House Of Glory Wrestling.
He also runs the Buffalo Kids Gallery, it’s flagship location is located in his hometown of Buffalo, NY. AEW stars Butcher, Blade, and Allie have been featured in advertising for the brand.
