New NXT North American Champion Crowned
Isaiah “Swerve” Scott has captured his first title in WWE NXT.
During this week’s edition of NXT on USA, Scott defeated Bronson Reed to become the new NXT North American Champion.
The final moments of the match saw interference Hit Row member Top Dolla, attempting to charge at Reed outside the ring, but ends up going through the plexiglass barricade. Reed proceeded to throw Adonis onto Dolla. When Reed returned to the ring he was met with a kick from Scott, setting up a 450 splash to gain the win.

Bronson Reed recently had two matches inside the WWE ThunderDome, one dark match against Robert Roode, and another against Drew Gulak taped for WWE Main Event.
NXT stars have recently began appearing in matches ahead of television tapings, WWE officials have begun scouting potential call-ups for the next Draft in September.
