The WWE has changed streaming providers for their WWE Network. According to a report from Variety, WWE’s agreement with Disney Streaming Services has ended. The company has signed a deal with Endeavor Video-Streaming Group
The WWE Network launched in 2014, and relied on Bamtech, now called Disney Streaming Services for their over-the-top streaming service. The agreement ended at the end of 2018.
“Endeavor Streaming’s best-in-class technology enables us to offer more features, elevate the user experience and provides us even more opportunity to delight our fans around the world,” WWE chairman/CEO Vince McMahon said in a statement.
Other clients Endeavor has include NFL, NBA, Sportsnet, Sky Sports, MSG, National Geographic, Euroleague, Univision, and Big Ten Network ,U.K.’s BT Sport Box Office service and OSN. Endeavor also owns UFC’s UFC.tv, Fight Pass, and PBR’s Ride Pass.
The WWE plans on adding more interactive content to the Network including a tiered payment system in 2019, including additional content.
