Controversial Finish Considered For 2021 Royal Rumble

Next Sunday WWE will be hosting their annual Royal Rumble pay per view, the first event to officially kickstart WrestleMania season. While the 30-man elimination match tends to be a favorite for the WWE Universe, a new report indicates that this year’s match may have an ending that could potentially be highly-controversial.

WrestleVotes has tweeted out that WWE is considering an ending to the men’s Rumble matchup that a close source labeled as “a finish that scares the death out of me,” and that said finish is being heavily considered with only six days until showtime.

Sorry for the lack of details here but still noteworthy IMO; had a brief conversation earlier with a source regarding the Men’s Royal Rumble match. They said quote:

“There’s a finish that scares the death out of me. And it’s legitimately getting heavy consideration” yikes.

Last year’s Men’s Rumble saw Drew McIntyre shock the WWE Universe by not only eliminating top superstar Brock Lesnar, but outlast Roman Reigns and Edge to earn his shot in the WrestleMania 36 main event. Early betting odds have listed Daniel Bryan as the favorite, but could the report potentially be indicating that a surprise entrant may be crowned the winner?

WWE Royal Rumble will be held on Sunday, January 31 at the ThunderDome inside Tropicana Field.

Stay tuned.
