This past weekend the WWE signed many NXT UK talent to exclusive deals preventing them to work outside of WWE affiliated companies. As first reported by Wrestletalk, these wrestlers were provided a pay increase for going exclusive, as the WWE no longer wants them to work for outside promotions.
Mike Johnson at PWInsider has confirmed the list of companies the WWE is allowing to book NXT UK stars, as these companies have affiliation with the WWE.
- UK’s PROGRESS Wrestling (which has a working relationship with WWE.)
- Scotland’s ICW (which has a working relationship with WWE.)
- Germany’s WXW (which has a working relationship with WWE.)
- UK’s Fight Club Pro (run by NXT UK star Trent Seven.)
- UK’s Attack! Pro Wrestling (Co-founded byPete Dunne.)
- Ireland’s OTT Wrestling in Ireland.
- UK’s Futureshock Wrestling
The talent are able to work at these promotions, but only dark matches, as the matches cannot be distributed via streaming channels or DVD’s.
