Update On WWE PC Classes

WWE will resume Performance Center training sessions on Monday, August 10 according to a report from Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

Performance Center classes will be held at a warehouse near the existing facility, due to the current facility being used for television tapings.

WWE has implemented regulations to ensure safety during the ongoing health crisis. Trainees will be tested on Sunday, and recieve their test results back every Monday. Only two participants will be allowed in the ring at one time, and everyone who is not wrestling will be required to wear masks.

According to the report, attendance is mandatory, which includes NXT talent who are featured on television.

Fightful Select (subscription required) provided additional details on WWE resuming training classes. Talent was made aware on July 31, with coaches informing them they would train at a new facility.

There has been frustration from some WWE coaches during the downtime. Some coaches are reportedly frustrated with talent getting paid not to train, and some not attending television tapings as audience members.

During time away from training, talent have been participating in “skull sessions”, which involves critiquing taped matches, which is also being utilized with the NXT UK division. WWE creative producer Ryan Katz has also been hosting “Promolympics”, with wrestlers submitting promos.
