WWE is mapping out their next few weeks of television, and will be recording multiple episodes of RAW and SmackDown inside the Performance Center.
According to POST Wrestling, the company is planning on taping episodes of Friday Night SmackDown and RAW leading into Wrestlemania 36.
We were informed at POST Wrestling by multiple people, as of Thursday, the company will be taping the remaining episodes of Friday Night SmackDown and Raw leading into WrestleMania.
Wrestlemania 36 is also expected to be pre-recorded prior to airing on April 4 and April 5th. The pay-per-view will be filmed at the WWE Performance Center, and other closed sets.
One source we spoke with indicated that they are expecting both WrestleMania shows to be taped over the next week as well. Another was unsure if that was the case. We have reached out to WWE regarding the proposed tapings and whether WrestleMania will be taped in advance.
If the company moves forward with pre-taping Wrestlemania, it will provide more flexibility with airing segments from multiple locations.
The following episodes of SmackDown and RAW are scheduled to be pre-recorded.
RAW:
- March 23
- March 30
SmackDown
- March 27
- April 3
Friday Night SmackDown on 3/20 is scheduled to go as planned this week, airing from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando.
