The Greensboro Coliseum announced today that the WWE will be bringing back an event named Starrcade on November 25th, 2017.
The original Starrcade was a staple for Jim Crockett Promotions, and later WCW.
The Starcade event has not been at the venue in 25 years.
The event will headlined with two cage matches.
Main Event Cage Match:
WWE Championship: Jinder Mahal vs. Shinsuke Nakamura
Co-Main Event Cage Match:
WWE Smackdown Women’s Championship: Natalya vs. Charlotte Flair
WWE United States Championshiop: AJ Styles vs. Baron Corbin vs. Rusev
WWE Tag Team Championship Tornado Match: The New Day vs. Usos
Bobby Roode vs. Dolph Ziggler
Kevin Owens vs. Sami Zayn
The event will also feature appearances from The Rock N Roll Express and Ricky Steamboat.
It is unknown at this time whether the WWE plans on recording this event for DVD or WWE Network streaming. As of right now it’s simply a house show.
