WWE Discussing Ideas For Next All Women’s PPV
With the success of the first WWE all women’s PPV Evoltuion, the company is expected to host another event in 2019. In the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer did mention discussions on a Queen Of The Ring Tournament.
The WWE is looking for ideas on their next all women’s event, and a tournament to crown the Queen Of The Ring is something being pitched.
The WWE has held King Of The Ring tournaments as far back as 1985, with PPV’s based on the name from 1993 – 2002. In 2006, the tournament finals were part of the Judgment Day PPV. In 2008 and 2010, the tournament was held on Monday Night RAW. In 2015, the tournament began Monday Night RAW and then concluded the next night as a WWE Network special.
The idea of a women’s version of the event would feature main roster superstars.
