WWE Replays Royal Rumble Main Event During RAW
This new episode of RAW opens on Monday 23 March 2020 from the WWE Performance Center with Paul Heyman. In a video thumbnail, Heyman introduces his client and lists the Superstars he defeated, such as Hulk Hogan, The Rock or John Cena. He says that there has never been a man as dominant, as long as Brock Lesnar.
The video continues with Drew McIntyre, who agrees with Heyman’s statement that there has never been a man as dominant, for as long as Brock Lesnar. But at the Royal Rumble, Lesnar discovered his counterpart. At Wrestlemania 36, he became the new “Reigning Defending Undisputed WWE Heavyweight Champion of the World”.
Once the video is released, we find Paul Heyman and WWE Champion Brock Lesnar in the ring. Heyman says we live in an uncertain world and uncertain times, but he can give us a certitude. And that certitude is Brock Lesnar.
He goes on to warn Drew McIntyre that no matter how much he practices, he will never be like Brock Lesnar. Heyman says Lesnar will do the job fast, but won’t make it any less painful.
Heyman goes on to say that Mclntyre will be Main Eventer for the next few years, only because of the fight he will have with his client. But it is Brock Lesnar who will dominate the WWE, “Then, Now and Forever,” he says to conclude this opening segment.
The WWE Championship match between John Cena and Brock Lesnar and Seth Rollins at the 2015 Royal Rumble is on air and bets on Sbo are going strong.
The O.C. are now making their debut on the stage. Microphone in hand, AJ Styles reminds that Wrestlemania will be held over two nights and that it will face the Undertaker. Afterwards, he laughs at the Phenom, saying that he was wearing gothic maternity pants last week at RAW.
He continues to make fun of the Undertaker and in particular of his Twitter account. He broadcasts a video of him and his wife in a pool with a tiger to raise awareness of the cause. Styles says he no longer recognizes him and wants to see the real Undertaker again.
He says he’s going to bring back the real Undertaker, the Dead Man. He wants to bury him as he promised, that’s why he’s challenging Taker in a “Boneyard match” he says to conclude the segment.
Becky Lynch Interrupts Shayna Baszler
Charly Caruso is in the ring with Shayna Baszler for an interview. Caruso asks her a question about Becky Lynch but Baszler does not answer. She laughs and asks Caruso if she’s nervous, if she’s afraid she’ll bite her.
Caruso returns to this sequence that happened a few weeks ago and asks Baszler if Lynch should expect the same thing in Wrestlemania. She answers that she must expect destruction. If she wants this RAW Women’s Championship so much, it is because she knows that taking it from Lynch would destroy her. That’s the only reason.
Baszler continues to crack sugar on Lynch’s back before that butt comes into the ring and assigns him a powerful chair kick in the back. Lynch repeatedly hits his opponent from Wrestlemania before going backstage to conclude the segment.
