Riddick Moss recently returned to WWE programming, working matches on Main Event, and appearing on RAW Underground.

Moss has been out of action for several months, explaining in a recent interview that his brother has cystic fibrosis, and due to them living together, he wanted to protect his health.

According to Fightful Select (subscription required), Riddick Moss was set for a big push, according to several high level names in WWE creative. Paul Heyman was very high on Moss, but made the decision to keep him off television due to his brother’s health situation, to avoid any potential heat if Moss made that decision himself.

During that time, Riddick Moss was the 24/7 Champion, and rather than have Moss lose the title at television, they created a storyline for him to drop it at an outdoor location.

WWE has publicly stated talent would be exempt from performing due to the ongoing health crisis, Stephanie McMahon recently stated that it is optional for staff and talent to work during the pandemic.
