WWE has announced the release of several Superstars following a conference call speaking on cuts within the company.

- Deonna Purrazzo (NXT)
- Aleksandar Jaksic (NXT)
According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful, NXT stars who were released will be paid for 30 days, and then are free to do whatever they wish.

WWE has also furloughed several backstage producers, including Kurt Angle, Shane Helms, Fit Finlay, Lance Storm, and Mike Rotunda, Pat Buck, Billy Kidman, Shawn Daivari, and Sarah Stock.
Producers in the company have not been released, but are put on a leave of absence according to Pro Wrestling Sheet.
The company has also released referee Mike Chioda.
An emotional Drake Maverick took to social media, and released a video following his release. He stated that the company will allow him to continue to compete in the NXT Cruiserweight Title tournament, but that will most likely be his last match.

Vince McMahon held a conference call with WWE staff Wednesday, indicating a number of cuts will be taking place amid the coronavirus pandemic.
More cuts are expected, including additional talent as well as employees.
WWE issued a press release Wednesday indicating major business cuts would happen, including scaling back executive compensation, travel expenses, and construction on the new company headquarters.
The company plans to announce more talent cuts, and this page will be updated as more names have been revealed.
