WWE could be making additional cuts to its roster.
According to the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is rumored to make cuts to its NXT roster on 4/16. Further details were not provided.
The rumor going around was that there would be more cuts on 4/16, concentrating on NXT.
On Thursday, WWE released 10 main roster wrestlers, one year after they made mass cuts amid the ongoing pandemic.
Samoa Joe, Bo Dallas, Billie Kay, Peyton Royce Tucker, Mickie James, Chelsea Green, Kalisto, and Wesley Blake were all released from their contracts, and are now subject to a 90-day non-compete clause. Released WWE talent will be able to sign deals with another company on Wednesday, July 14.
