Will WWE Use Cardboard Cutouts For Wrestlemania 37?
Following the success of Sunday’s NFL Super Bowl 55 at Tampa’s Raymond James Stadium, WWE is planning to discuss how empty seats will be filled for Wrestlemania 37.
Super Bowl 55 welcomed 25,000 fans, 7,500 of whom are vaccinated health care workers. The other 30,000 seats were filled with cardboard cutouts, featuring faces of fans who paid $100 each to be placed in the stands. According to Brian McCarthy of NFL Public Relations, the money raised will be donated to charity.
According to Wrestlevotes, WWE had previously been against the idea of filling empty seats with cardboard cutouts, but will be discussing the option following the NFL’s success.

WWE has yet to reveal how many fans will be in attendance for the two-night event. Stephanie McMahon spoke with TMZ last month, revealing they are still working on details to have fans attend the event.
While no official announcement has been made, WWE is expected to host upwards of 25,000 fans for each night of Wrestlemania 37.
