Moxley Scheduled To Work Several Independent Dates

Following his departure from WWE, Dean Ambrose posted vignette on Twitter under his former name Jon Moxley.

According to Dave Meltzer in this week’s edition of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Moxley has a number of independent bookings lined up which will be announced shortly. He is expected to start on the independent scene sometime in June, if not earlier.

Moxley can charge several thousands per match on the independent scene, do meet and greets, and have full creative control on his schedule as well as character.

As far as signing with another promotion, that is unknown as this point, even though there is much speculation that he will be involved in All Elite Wrestling in some capacity. All that is known now is that he is scheduled to work independent dates.

After he told WWE he was not going to re-sign, the company offered more and more money, but he kept turning it down. Meltzer feels that giving him such a strong sendoff, is the WWE’s way of thinking he will eventually come back.
