Moxley Headed To New Japan Pro Wrestling
Times up! Jon Moxley has been revealed as the mystery man targeting Juice Robinson in in a vignette released by New Japan Pro Wrestling.
The video package, which first aired at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Wrestling Dontaku event three weeks ago showed a man sitting at a bar wearing a biker jacket clutching a knife. The original vignette faded to black following the date of June 5, 2019.
Last night, Jon Moxley released the full version of the vignette which revealed he is the man targeting Juice Robinson.
New Japan Pro Wrestling confirmed Moxley will make his debut for the company June 5, the finals of Best of the Super Juniors 26.
Following Double Or Nothing, Tony Khan revealed Moxley signed a multi-year deal with AEW. Khan stated Moxley would be able to take independent and international dates prior to his scheduling ramping up.
Moxley is scheduled to work for Northeast Wrestling this summer, with matches against Darby Allin and Pentagon Jr already booked.
All Elite Wrestling aired their first Jon Moxley promo, where he declares war against anybody who wishes to stand in the way of AEW.
“One day, they will all come to my funeral just to make sure I stay dead, but today is not that day,” Moxley said. “I’m alive! My heart is still beating and I’m breathing fresh air for the first time in a long time. My name is Jon Moxley and I am on a mission to reclaim my soul. And I’m not the only who thinks, ‘You know it’s about time this industry got a face lift.’ So make no mistake about it, this is an official declaration of war against anybody who wants to get in my way or anybody who stands in AEW’s way. We’re on a mission to knock the pillars of this industry on their ass. We ain’t reading history books anymore, we’re writing them. This is what you call a paradigm shift.”
