Crown Jewel Still Set For November 7
WWE Crown Jewel is still set for November 7 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
TKO executive chair and CEO Ari Emanuel addressed the status of the show during an interview with Fox News, via F4WOnline and WrestlingNews.co.
"Right now, everything is still set," Emanuel said. "This weekend coming up in Abu Dhabi, we have a UFC fight. We have in the middle of November a Frieze art show. So far so good. Nothing’s been cancelled."
When asked if there is a scenario where TKO pulls the show, Emanuel said a team is working on it daily.
"We have a whole team kind of working on this, and if that doesn’t happen, where we can move it. It’s a daily monitoring."
The comments come as the U.S. State Department has warned Americans in the region and ordered nonessential diplomatic personnel and their families to leave Saudi Arabia. The department told Americans in the Middle East on Monday to exercise heightened vigilance, citing Houthi attacks on civilian airports in Saudi Arabia.
Crown Jewel is set for Riyadh Season Stadium. Two Crown Jewel title matches have already been announced for the show. Liv Morgan, the Women’s World Champion, faces Chelsea Green, the WWE Women’s Champion, for the Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. Roman Reigns, the World Heavyweight Champion, faces Sami Zayn, the Undisputed WWE Champion, for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship.
Emanuel pointed to other TKO business in the region as part of why nothing has changed so far. The UFC fight he mentioned is UFC 333, set for Saturday, October 24 in Abu Dhabi. UFC CEO Dana White said last weekend that the UFC’s December 5 event in Riyadh is also still on. TKO owns both WWE and the UFC.
WWE is also scheduled to hold WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh in April 2027, so the company has more than one major show tied to Saudi Arabia.
As of this writing, WWE has not announced any change to Crown Jewel, and no backup location has been announced.
