John Cena will return to Raw next week in Brooklyn, New York.
WWE announced the appearance during the October 26 episode of Raw. Cena will be at the Barclays Center on November 2, for the final Raw before Crown Jewel on November 7. The show will start at the special time of 6 p.m. ET.
It will be Cena’s first Raw appearance since he retired from in-ring competition in December 2025. He hosted WrestleMania 42 in April, and he appeared at Backlash on May 9, where he announced the first John Cena Classic tournament. WWE has not said what Cena will do on the November 2 show.
No link between Cena’s appearance and the John Cena Classic has been confirmed. The tournament has previously been talked about for December, but WWE has not announced a date for it.
The November 2 show already has a grudge match set. Solo Sikoa will face Royce Keys, after Keys challenged him earlier on Raw. Sikoa later accepted the match in a backstage segment with the rest of The Bloodline.
The match continues the rivalry between The Bloodline and the group known as 946. Keys turned on Sikoa and LA Knight in August, then aligned with Lucien Price and Bronco Nima. The two sides are expected to meet in WarGames at Survivor Series.
Cena’s return gives the go-home Raw before Crown Jewel a major name, even without a match announced for him. The show will air on Netflix, like the rest of Raw’s run.
What is confirmed is the date, the venue, the special start time, and the Sikoa against Keys match. What is not confirmed is what Cena will do on the show, or whether it will have any bearing on Crown Jewel.
