Persephone and Queen Aminata have been added to the Women’s Blood and Guts match on November 4.
AEW Blood and Guts takes place on November 4 at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. The show airs at 8 p.m. ET on TBS and HBO Max, directly against WWE NXT.
On Fright Night Collision on October 31, Persephone said there was one spot left in the Women’s Blood and Guts match, and sent a message to Queen Aminata. AEW President Tony Khan later made both additions official.
Persephone will join Triangle of Madness, made up of Thekla, Julia Hart and Skye Blue, and Divine Dominion, made up of Lena Kross and Megan Bayne. Her reason is revenge, after Aminata beat her for the TBS Championship on Fright Night Dynamite.
Aminata will join Willow Nightingale, Wrathlander, made up of Harley Cameron and Kris Statlander, and The Brawling Birds, made up of Jamie Hayter and Alex Windsor. Aminata is the current TBS Champion, after beating Persephone on October 28.
The Women’s Blood and Guts match is now six on six, with twelve wrestlers in total. The men’s Blood and Guts match remains unchanged, with Will Ospreay, Adam Copeland, Darby Allin, Steven Borden and The Young Bucks facing The Don Callis Family, made up of Kazuchika Okada, Wardlow, Kyle Fletcher, Kevin Knight, Mark Davis and Jake Doyle.
What is confirmed is both additions, the full teams, and the November 4 date. What is not confirmed is the match order, or whether any other matches will be added to the Blood and Guts card.
