Titus O’Neil is scheduled to be awarded for his charitable efforts during this year’s WWE Hall Of Fame.
Fightful Select (subscription required) reports that as of this February, Titus O’Neil will be this year’s recipient of the WWE Hall Of Fame ‘Warrior Award.’
O’Neil is one of the most charitable people to ever be in the wrestling industry, and has been nominated for countless awards throughout his career, being named as a finalist for the Muhammad Ali Award just last year.
Past recipients of the Warrior Award include Connor ‘The Crusher’ Michalek, Joan Lunden, Eric LeGrand, Jarrius ‘JJ’ Robertson, and Sue Aitchison.
This would be the first time a member of WWE’s talent roster is awarded the award.
Due the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Hall Of Fame Class will be inducted at this year’s ceremony, along with this year’s class. The following inductees will be inducted during this year’s awards ceremony: Bella Twins, JBL, nWo, British Bulldog, Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger, Eric Bischoff, Molly Holly, Kane, Rob Van Dam, and The Great Khali.
Batista was scheduled to be part of the 2020 Class, however had to pull out of the event due to previous obligations. He will instead be inducted at a future ceremony.
