All Elite Wrestling has yet to finalize a Canadian television deal, but are in advanced talks with TSN in Canada.

According to Dave Meltzer during today’s episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, sources from both TSN in Canada and All Elite Wrestling indicate the two sides are close to finalizing a deal, but are still negotiating. These talks are in place less than a week before AEW premieres its weekly television series.

Talks between two sides are to have All Elite Wrestling air live on TSN in Canada, and that is the reason why Fite TV will not be offering the AEW Plus service to Canadian subscribers.

Earlier this year, Jason Agnew of TSN’s “Saturday Night’s Main Event” revealed  AEW did approach the network to air the weekly series. No further details from those talks have been revealed, other than the answer was not a “No” from the network.

Earlier this month Cody Rhodes tweeted, “Canada’s patience is gonna’ pay off” when asked about how Canadian fans can watch AEW Dynamite.

AEW’s agreement with iTV in U.K. was finalized this week. The original plan was for the show to air live on Wednesdays at 1 AM BST, then replay on Friday night. That deal fell through at the last minute, and AEW will be shown on iTV a tape delay four days later.

iTV reportedly has regulations concerning ad times, which differs from TNT. In the United States, TNT will run 16 minutes of commercials per hour, while in the U.K, iTV is mandated to run 12 minutes per hour. All Elite Wrestling’s program in the U.K may differ those regulations, and an additional four minutes may have to be added to be in compliance.

U.K fans will be able to watch the event live via AEW Plus, a subscription service offered through Fite TV, which allows viewers outside North America to watch the show for $4.99 a month.

Fite TV viewers will not have commercials, and additional content will likely have to be added ad breaks on TNT.
