Pro Wrestling Illustrated is set to release their annual PWI Women’s 100 list, ranking the best female talent from all over the globe.

This year’s edition is dominated by WWE stars claiming the top 5 spots. Bayley and Sasha Banks appear on the cover together, with Bayley ranking #1, and Banks ranking #5.

The evaluation period for this list is October 1, 2019, through September 30, 2019. The publication gave “special consideration to the momentum athletes had prior to the COVID-19 shutdown”

Criteria for PWI Women’s 100

  • Championships Won
  • Quality Of Opposition
  • Technical Proficiency
  • Win-Loss Records
  • Overall Activity
  • Momentum/Promotional “Push”

Bayley is interviewed in the issue, speaking on a number of topics, including having the honor of ranking #1 in this year’s list.

“It’s obvious I made a major change late last year. And everybody kind of thought it was going to fail. They thought I made the wrong decision, or that I couldn’t pull it off.” An I think I’ve proved everyone wrong, especially in the craziness that has been going on with the pandemic and not performing in front of fans, which makes everything way harder.”
