Thor Star Planning To Bulk Up For Hogan Biopic
Chris Hemsworth is preparing for his role as Hulk Hogan in an upcoming biopic about the WWE legend.
In a recent interview with Total Film, Hemsworth spoke on how plans to put on more size to play the WWE Hall of Famer.
“This movie is going to be a really fun project,” Hemsworth said. “As you can imagine, the preparation for the role will be insanely physical. I will have to put on more size than I ever have before, even more than I put on for Thor. There is the accent as well as the physicality and the attitude. I will also have to do a deep dive into the rabbit hole of the wrestling world, which I’m really looking forward to doing,”
Hulk Hogan will act as executive producer and consultant for the film, with Bradley Cooper also
“I’m just fascinated by that world, and I think they’re pretty keen to show a side of the world that people haven’t seen before. I’m as intrigued as you are,” Hemsworth said.
The movie will focus on the story of the Hulkster and the rise of Hulkamania, rather than controversy that surrounded him later in life.
The film will be directed by Todd Phillips and written by Scott Silver, the duo behind 2019’s The Joker.
