Chris Jericho Mocks WWE Management Following Wrestlemania Backlash
AEW star Chris Jericho had some choice words when speaking on WWE’s usage of zombies during Sunday’s Wrestlemania Backlash pay-per-view.
Zombies…ZOMBIES? Wow that just set wrestling back 30 years.

Jericho was referring to a line reportedly said by someone in WWE management when speaking on AEW’s Blood & Guts match. Dave Scherer of PWInsider reported, WWE management was not happy with the match, with one person stating, “That just set the business back 30 years”.
WWE used zombies during a lumberjack match between Damien Priest and The Miz. It was a branded partnership with Netflix’s original movie Army of The Dead, starring former WWE star Dave Bautista.
Dave Bautista responded to a fan who wasn’t pleased with the zombies being used during the show.
Wtf you telling me?!! You think I booked a bunch of fucking zombies. I’m on a damn plane! Shouldn’t you be tweeting Vince?!

WWE used a number of talent from the Performance Center to portray the zombies. You can check out a list of some of the names here.
