Jonatham Gresham has won the Ring Of Honor Pure Championship tournament.
During the latest episode of ROH television, Gresham defeated Tracy Williams in the finals of the tournament. He won the match via Octopus Stretch submission.
Following the match, Todd Sinclair presented Gresham with the ROH Pure Championship and trophy. Jay Lethal congratulated Gresham as he celebrated in the ring.
The episode began airing on 10/31 on Sinclair syndicated stations across the United States. The episode will be available on the ROH website and Fite TV beginning 11/2.

After a 14 year hiatus, Ring Of Honor revived the championship over the summer with a 16-man tournament.
The Pure Championship debuted in 2004. Matches held for the title are sanctioned under “Pure Rules.
ROH Pure Championship Wrestling Rules
- Each wrestler has three rope breaks to stop submissions and pinfalls during the match. After a wrestler has used all their rope breaks, submission and pin attempts under the ropes by the opponent are valid.
- There are no closed-fist punches to the face allowed in a Pure match. If you perform one, you will receive a warning. Three closed-fist punches result in a DQ.
- Referee gives a 20-count when a wrestler is outside the ring.
- Pure Championship can change hands on a DQ or countout.
