Kevin Owens Update
Kevin Owens underwent double knee surgery this past October, although it wasn’t full-blown reconstructive surgery, he did have extensive damage to his left knee.
Dave Meltzer provided a brief update stating that the hope still is for Owens to be cleared by late February. The WWE may try and hold back his return to closer to Wrestlemania.
Owens has been rehabbing his knee while at home in Florida.
Mustafa Ali Receives Praise From Peers
Mustafa Ali worked a match against Daniel Bryan last night on Smackdown Live, and gained massive praise from his peers. The 205 live crew watched Ali’s match together on a TV backstage, and when Ali game back to the locker room he was greeted by not only his 205 peers, but main roster rosters such as The Usos and Jeff Hardy.
WWE agent Adam Pearce also provided praise to the 205 Live star.

Finn Balor Illness Update
Finn Balor was sent home last week from the WWE’s South American tour due to an undisclosed illness. The RAW superstar missed RAW and Mixed Match Challenge this week, and it’s hopeful he will be at TLC this Sunday night. According to John Pollock at Post Wrestling, Balor’s illness specifies he needs clearance to have physical contact. Whether this is something contagious is unknown, but at this point in time he is still advertised for this Sunday’s pay-per-view
Ex-WWE Writer Sticks Up For RAW
Former WWE writer Jimmy Jacobs took to social media to defend Monday Night RAW after Wresting Observer journalist Bryan Alvarez commented on how the programs ratings were “embarrassing”
Jacobs commented on how writing a 3 hour wrestling show weekly is difficult, and how it’s easy to point out problems, rather than give solutions.
