Kurt Angle has no plans on joining All Elite Wrestling.
During a recent interview with Hannibal TV, the WWE Hall Of Famer revealed he has had minimal contact with AEW, and would rather stay loyal to WWE.
Kurt Angle states he is currently working on something with WWE, but he can’t let the cat out of the bag just yet, as he doesn’t want to jeopardize the plans.
“Well my relationship with WWE is really good and I like to keep it that way. I don’t have any plans of going to AEW. I haven’t really spoke to them that much. Just a couple messages sent back and forth but nothing serious. I have something going on with WWE right now and it most likely will materialize. I can’t talk about it but that’s what I’m waiting on and I don’t wanna mess that up. The company’s been so good to me and I wanna be loyal to them.”
Angle made two appearances for WWE last May, working as a special guest referee in the Fight Pit match between Matt Riddle and Timothy Thatcher in NXT, and announcing Riddle’s arrival on Friday Night SmackDown.
Shortly after his appearances, Angle revealed WWE offered him a role to manage Matt Riddle, but turned it down as he was focusing on personal ventures.
