WWE may be forced to hold the 2020 Summerslam pay-per-view inside the Performance Center in Orlando, FL.
In May, WWE was actively looking for a new location for Summerslam, due to restrictions placed by Boston Mayor Marty Walsh, banning all large events in the city until September.
According to Wrestlevotes, WWE sources are are not unsure if they can find a way to host the event with a live crowd.
Recently asked for an update on SummerSlam, source said 2 or 3 weeks ago he was certain WWE would find a way to do it w/ an audience. Today, very much unsure. As badly as they don’t want the event at the PC, unfortunately that’s very much on the table. Decision not yet imminent.
