WWE 2K22 Video Game Update
WWE 2K developers uploaded a video featuring a behind-the-scenes look for the upcoming WWE 2K22 video game.
The video features former WWE star Lio Rush performing motion capture for the game.
For the past several months, we’ve been hitting the mat producing a ton of new moves and updating old favorites for #WWE2K22! Here’s a small sample of ones we captured. Recognize any of them?
Over the years, 2K Games has used independent wrestlers to do motion capture work. WWE 2K20 featured names such as Brian Cage, Jeff Cobb, Scorpio Sky, and Kylie Rae.
Lio Rush commented on the video, saying his experience was “incredibly fun”.

WWE 2K developer Patrick Gilmore commented on the video, revealing “virtually every move is meticulously referenced from real matches”.
If you watch carefully, you'll see reference monitors in the background of some shots. Virtually every move is meticulously referenced from real matches. But performers have to account for every outcome, and often improvise whiffs, misses, counters, and other unexpected outcomes. https://t.co/0gRRbcq9nq
