The match between Braun Strowman and Universal Champion Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble is in jeopardy, and may be changed.
Tonight on RAW they may make an announcement that Braun Strowman is out of the match.
According to Rajah.com, an early version of the RAW script has a segment where Braun Strowman flips over Vince McMahon’s limousine. This incident causes Vince McMahon to take Braun out of the match. No word if this angle actually was filmed yet, as it was noted in an early version of the script. Most weeks the script gets revised multiple times.
Dave Meltzer stated today that an angle of some sort was scheduled tonight that could make changes to a Royal Rumble match, but did not state exactly what it would be.
Braun Strowman has yet to be medically cleared after his elbow surgery. His last appearance did not have any physical contract. He was originally believed to be cleared in time for the Royal Rumble, but that may not be the case.
Braun Strowman had elbow spurs removed late last year, and has yet to be cleared for in-ring action.
If they do decide to go fourth with the angle tonight a replacement for Strowman may be announced.
