Sonya Deville Expected To Return To WWE Ring
WWE star Sonya Deville is expected to make an in-ring return soon.
According to Fightful Select (subscription required), WWE sources have revealed that Deville “is expected to return to the ring soon, and the return to the ring could be imminently as long as all things go according to plan.”
The report notes there has been talk to have her involved in this Sunday’s Women’s Money In the Bank ladder match, and at one point she was listed as a competitor in the match.
Her last match was against Mandy Rose in a ‘loser leaves WWE’ match at last year’s SummerSlam, taking a break shortly after due to her real-life stalker situation.
Several months later Deville showed up over on SmackDown, joining Adam Pearce as a WWE Official.
I was a little scared to face my friends after I lost my job.But I’m so glad I picked myself up and continued my journey because I want to, not because I have to.And I only cried once!Plus I did a 970 splash but nobody saw it.@TJWilson @NikkiCrossWWE @NatbyNature @YaOnlyLivvOnce pic.twitter.com/72rlT3Keel

Last month, Ringside News reported WWE had planned for Deville to make her return at this year’s WrestleMania, but company sources indicate “it keeps getting pushed another week, another two weeks, another week, another two weeks.”
