Sonya Deville Was Originally For In-Ring Return Around Wrestlemania

Despite making her WWE return almost five months ago, Sonya Deville is yet to compete in a match. This could soon change though as Deville is training for her in-ring return.

Deville came up short against Mandy Rose in a ‘loser leaves WWE’ match at SummerSlam last year, taking a break shortly after due to a stalker situation. Several months later Deville showed up over on SmackDown, surprising fans with the role she settled on.

Deville joined Adam Pearce as a WWE official, and has made several appearances since on both Raw and SmackDown. Recently, she helped Charlotte Flair get reinstated just one week after her suspension for attacking a referee.

Fans may not have to wait too long for the former Absolution member’s return to the ring, with several images of her training alongside her friends being posted to social media.

According to Ringside News, WWE had planned for Deville to make her grand return at this year’s WrestleMania, however, for some reason, it continues to get pushed back several weeks. Until then, Deville will seemingly remain as a WWE official on both of WWE’s main roster brands.
