Original Story:
Zelina Vega Listed On Internal WWE Roster
We could see Zelina Vega make her return to WWE in the next few weeks.
Fightful Select (subscription required) has provided an update on Vega’s WWE status after she was filming content at the WWE Performance Center this past May.
As of three weeks ago, WWE had plans for her to return to the main roster, and is listed internally as a heel on SmackDown. The report adds the hope is for her to be back around Money In The Bank. No specific creative plans are known at this time.
Zelina Vega was fired from WWE last November after violating the company’s third party policy.
During her time in the company, Vega managed various talents, including Andrade, Austin Theory, and Angel Garza. Her main client, Andrade, left WWE in March after the company granted his release.
Prior to her release, Vega received a sizeable push to the main event scene of RAW, most notably challenging Asuka for the Raw Women’s Championship at Clash Of Champions.
Vega’s real-life husband Aleister Black was part of a recent round of releases.
