A new report from PW Insider says that there were several superstars who sustained injuries coming out of last night’s NXT Takeover WarGames pay per view.
Candice LeRae suffered a broken arm at the hands of Shotzi Blackheart during the women’s WarGames matchup, which saw LeRae’s team pick up the victory. She was spotted later in the evening wearing an arm sling, and is expected to undergo X-Rays soon.
New NXT North American champion Johnny Gargano had his lip busted open during his his triple-threat showdown against Leon Ruff and Damian Priest. He would later post an update on Twitter writing, “VICTORY MONDAY. We spent the night getting matching bracelets in the ER and celebrated our War Games victories by getting X-Rays on arms and stitches in mouths, baby!”

Similar to this injury was Timothy Thatcher having his ear opened up by Tommaso Ciampa after the Blackheart nailed him with a running knee during their singles-bout.
The men’s WarGames matchup saw two stars get pretty banged up. The Undisputed Era’s Bobby Fish had his arm lacerated at some point, while his opponent Oney Lorcan needed assistance out of the ring after the show went off the air. The report says that he was moved with caution, but is not expected to miss much time.
