WWE is expected to expand their NXT brand to the Indian market beginning in the new year.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics and John Pollock Of Post Wrestling, multiple sources have confirmed WWE’s plan to begin filming content for NXT India in January.

As of a several weeks ago, WWE’s plans for the launch included an eight-man single-elimination tournament to launch the brand.
NXT India is expected to air on Sony Picture Networks (SPN) in India, as well as the WWE Network.
Triple H spoke on plans to expand WWE’s presence in India in a recent interview with Sports Business Journal. He states global markets is something WWE will prioritize over the next two years. He noted plans to build a Performance Center in India.
“The Middle East, India, would be especially high on the list that we have. … Over time our intent is to build a Performance Center in India and to have people training there and build”
WWE hosted their first-ever tryouts in India in 2019.
