Randy Orton has been absent from WWE events for the last month, due to dealing with an injury.
According to Fightful Select, Randy Orton has been dealing with a neck injury, which occurred during a match against Aleister Black on a WWE live event in early June. Orton had scheduled vacation time booked, but was given an additional two weeks off to heal. The injury is reportedly not serious, but enough to warrant some time off to heal. The WWE didn’t have any immediate plans for Orton on television.
Randy Orton was evaluated this past week, and has been given the green light to return to action. He was scheduled to work last night’s live event in Utica, NY, but missed it due to travel complications. He is expected to return to action at tonight’s live event in Binghampton, NY.
Orton’s last televised match was against Triple H at WWE Super ShowDown in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
