Mike Johnson of PWInsider confirmed Sunday’s match was his last for the yellow and black brand. It’s unknown if he plans to sign a new deal with WWE, or pursue different options, including All Elite Wrestling.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select (subscription required) noted, as of Sunday morning “Adam Cole had not signed a new WWE contract”. His current contract expired this past July, he signed a short term extension until Takeover.
