Finn Balor could be making his way back to the red brand if RAW creative gets their way.
Finn Balor hasn’t been seen on WWE’s main roster since almost two years ago, where a loss against ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt led to Balor returning to NXT, where he was first introduced to the WWE Universe.
Balor’s return to the black and gold brand has seen him become NXT Champion, along with having some great matches against opponents he never got the opportunity to clash with the first time around.
Whilst Balor’s run on the main roster wasn’t seen as being very successful among fans, many have called for his return to either Raw or SmackDown over recent weeks, specifically after his second loss against Karrion Kross on last week’s episode of NXT.
WWE has several options for Balor on the main roster, whether that’s heading to the blue brand to potentially feud with the ‘Tribal Chief’ Roman Reigns to reclaim the title he never lost, or returning to the red brand, where he spent most of his time whilst on the main roster.
According to a recent report from WrestleVotes, members of the Raw creative team have requested Balor’s move back to the red brand for several months now, however, as of yet no edict has been sent from the top informing people of his NXT exit.
Regarding Finn Balor: I’m told members of the RAW creative team have asked for him for months now. No edict has come down from the top yet yanking him from Orlando. The NXT crew adores Balor so unless the main roster has major plans for him, I’d think he’s OK where he is.

Balor recently spoke to Ryan Satin’s ‘Out Of Character’ podcast, where he revealed his hopes for a return to the main roster.
“I grew up as a wrestling fan watching WWE, and that’s, essentially, where I want to be performing. I feel like in my last run there, I wasn’t doing myself justice. I needed to change something, and the change came with NXT to kinda figure out who I was again. I’ve managed to do that to some level, and I’m definitely hopeful that a return to RAW or SmackDown will happen in the future.”
