Segment Edited From WWE Youtube Channel
Vince McMahon is not happy with Seth Rollins following comments made during Monday Night RAW.
Rollins opened up last night’s RAW with a town hall segment criticizing the rest of the roster on how they performed during Survivor Series Sunday night.
The segment was met with CM Punk chants from the crowd inside Allstate Arena. Rollins responded to the chant, saying “I tried to get CM Punk here, I’m sorry, he didn’t want to show up. He wants to sit behind a desk in Los Angeles and talk about a change that he’s too afraid to make himself.”

According to Dave Meltzer in the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, McMahon was really upset at Rollins for the segment as he doesn’t like teasing matches he doesn’t plan to deliver. Meltzer added Vince could be working everyone backstage with his reactions, but that is unlikely.
“Unless Seth and Vince, because there is always this chance, unless Seth and Vince worked it out and Vince was working everyone backstage by being furious when this was going on, Vince was really upset by Seth responding to this,”
WWE uploaded the segment on their Youtube channel, but did edit out any reference Seth Rollins made to CM Punk.
In the past McMahon has been upset with potential matches being setup by talent without his blessing. During a 2015 episode of Steve Austin’s “Stone Cold Podcast” on the WWE Network, Paul Heyman asked Austin if he would face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania. Austin and Heyman began teasing this match could take place, even suggesting it be a “Texas Death Match”. McMahon was reportedly furious at Heyman and Austin for teasing such a big time match that he had no plans to deliver.
Triple H recently commented on CM Punk’s return to WWE programming, saying “To be honest, we have not had that conversation. I know he’s working for FOX and it’s a bit of an arm’s length from us. All of this stuff is baby steps, when people want something so bad, it’s like they’re saying, ‘So you’re saying there’s a chance.’ That’s the moment of time that we’re in.”
Since signing a deal with FOX, CM Punk has been very adamant he has not had any dealings directly with WWE. Whether or not any talks do begin in the future remains unknown.
