Report: WWE Scraps NXT Takeover Survivor Series Weekend, Updated PPV Schedule

WWE will not be producing their annual NXT Takeover event Survivor Series weekend this year.

According to PWInsider, WWE will be producing NXT Takeover events on Sunday October 4, and Sunday December 6 as standalone events.

WWE had produced War Games events the day prior to Survivor Series the last 3 years. It’s unknown if the concept will be used on the October 4 or December 6 events.

Below is the updated WWE  PPV schedule for the remainder of 2020.

  • NXT Takeover –  October 4
  • NXT Takeover: Dublin – October 25 (TBD)
  • WWE Hell In A Cell – November 1
  • WWE Survivor Series – November 22
  • NXT Takeover – December 6
  • WWE Tables, Ladders, Chairs – December 20
