Sonjay Dutt and Abyss have exited Impact Wrestling and are headed to WWE.
The news broke earlier this week that the long tenured Impact employees will be leaving the company.
Both Dutt and Abyss were offered jobs within the WWE, and Dutt was released early from his contract by Ed Nordholm. Abyss has been working without a formal contract with Impact in a backstage role.
According to Mike Johnson at PWInsider Elite, a WWE source indicated this morning that the plan is for both Sonjay Dutt and Abyss to be main roster producers in the WWE.
It was originally thought that the two will be working with NXT, which may be the case to begin with, but the plan as of now is to have them as producers on the main roster.
