A former WWE Champion will reportedly be making their IMPACT debut this weekend.
According to PWInsider, Adam Scherr, the former Braun Strowman, was spotted flying into Las Vegas on Friday morning.
It was noted that Scherr is expected to be making his IMPACT debut this weekend, likely during Saturday’s Bound For Glory pay-per-view.
Scherr has used #titan in several of his recent social media posts, with PWInsider noting that he plans to use ‘The Titan’ as his nickname going forward.
In August, IMPACT Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore jokingly said that they were on the ‘Road to Braun For Glory’, however it now seems Braun will legitimately be appearing for IMPACT. PWInsider previously noted that Scherr had met with D’Amore earlier this week in Michigan, likely discussing his IMPACT debut.
Scherr was shockingly released from WWE earlier this year, less than a month after competing in a WWE Championship match against Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre. Scherr also faced Shane McMahon two months prior at WrestleMania 36.
Earlier this month, Scherr was an analyst for the Mr. Olympia Arm Wrestling Championships for NBC Sports, as well as wrestling EC3 at Free The Narrative 2: The Monster Among In Us All.
Scherr won’t be the only former WWE Superstar making their IMPACT debut, as The IInspiration (fka The IIconics) will be competing in the Knockouts Tag Team Championships match.
IMPACT Bound For Glory takes place this Saturday at 10pm ET. You can purchase the event via FiteTV.
